A vintage Mason's Patent Ironstone China vessel in the classic Fruit Basket pattern, made in England. The cream ironstone body has a squared, softly faceted form on four small feet, with black transfer decoration hand-colored in green, ochre, rust and yellow. Its open shape works beautifully as a small vase, utensil holder or decorative container.
Condition: good vintage condition with visible overall glaze crazing and light age-related wear, including minor discoloration at the feet. No obvious chips or cracks are visible in the photos. The underside carries the Mason's Patent Ironstone China Fruit Basket backstamp with “Guaranteed Detergent Proof & Acid Resisting Colours.”
