Here is a gorgeous example of vintage hotel ware / restaurant ware, perfect for a minimalist aesthetic or vintage crockery enthusiast. This Duralite Dudson set can be used as a tea set or coffee set. Other pieces are available in this pattern. I picked this set up in London this Autumn. It's a really lovely everyday set for everyday casual dining. In good vintage condition with no chips or cracks. Set contain 4 cups & saucers as well as creamer.

Vitrification is a process in which the ceramic is brought to its melting point. At that temperature, the clay and minerals fuse together and form a crystalline structure. The term is derived from the Latin "vitreum," which means glass, because the process gives the clay properties very similar to glass. The transformation strengthens the material dramatically and makes it much less porous than non-vitrified ceramics.

from Armorlite.com "Founded in 1800, Dudson is a family business in Stoke-on-Trent, England. With nine generations of family experience in producing quality ceramics, we are proud of our stunning tableware that is loved by hospitality professionals all over the world."
